It's 2 am and a few hours ago my wife told me she wants a divorce. Although it isn't the first time I've heard those words, this time I can tell it is for real. I stumbled upon your blog and your stories have given me a lot of hope that I can get through this---even though it will be a very long road ahead. We have a young child and I am terrified of losing him, especially because he is too young to really know who I am, and I fear that if/when my wife re-marries, my son will no longer come to view me as his dad.
Thank you for your stories, your honesty, and your efforts to reassure fathers like me, who feel like they are about to lose their entire world. I have bookmarked this blog (and your new site) and will be referencing it often over the coming months.
PS: I plan to buy your book this week, and I look forward to that as well.
